I have a Jersey Giant who I "know" will go broody
and I have a cochin who "should", by breed, go broody. The thing is that the cochin is a banty, so IDK about eggs (how many, which ones, just hers no matter how many there are, add a couple of large breed eggs if there are only a few of hers...)
Yeah,it kinda depends on your hen.
I guess I could check the breeds tab. I found some info in the Learning Center tab. But nothing yet on how many eggs/chicks one hen can/will handle well.
