The ONLY reason DH didn't fry Snoodle when we found out that 1. she's never going to fly (earning her the nickname "handi-cluck", 2. she'll only lay small eggs... is that I like her so much. He's basically letting me keep her as a pet.
I don't think he'll let me deliberately get Silkies. :\
Some guy had like 12 Black Austaulops and 9 of them went broody at once.
Okay,well if you have 6 chickens that might go broody then I would say you would at lest get 1 or 2 that do go broody but you don't know if all them will.I'm not sure how they will lay and how many will hatch.My duck sat on 11 eggs and like 8 hatched then you don't know if they will survive or not If you want broodys though I would get some silkies. -
