Henry is adorable!! I love tiny dogs! We have a Maltese named Lollie. He is my baby too. Just a real snuggler! I keep chickens, quail and the dog. I used to have Cockatiels and Lovebirds, but they have since died of old age. Had lots of goats and horses many years ago, but poultry is more my speed now. Ha!
During a molt it is good to give some cooked ground turkey or beef a few times a week to help with feather growth. You can also add starter to the layer feed or even gamebird food. Mix gamebird or starter feed 50 to 50 with your layer feed and it will bring up the protein. I have a few molters that take forever to get their molting done with too.
