Yay! My dad and I were just arguing about that its going to be a long couple of weeks.

My dad does the same thing and I do have to say I dont agree as they are my animals. We have mild winters as well and my mom keeps yelling at me because we have a giant electricity bill. All I have to say is that I have never had a coop fire in the four years it has been up just to reassure you!

When you have more than one roo they keep eachother in check making sure they all get a good amount of time with each hen same with turkeys.

Hi! I have 2 chickens and 1 turkey who I am currently showing at the PA Farmshow. I am looking to grow my flock as we butchered most of mine

I am located in the Lancaster PA area and in the past I have done my brooding inside.

How much do your hatching eggs cost? My friend has had quail in the past and looking to get back into them and I thought I would do it with him. We were thinking we would buy 12 or so hatching eggs and try our luck.

It can get down to -7 on a winter day it has been a bit warmer this year and we decided to put bantams off until this spring. So far the coldest day has been 12F
