Bantam Heating?

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am going to get some Silver Sebright Bantams next year but I live in an area where it can get really cold in the winter. My Buff Orpington's do fine but I read up on the Bantams and it said that they are not very cold hardy. I don't want to spend very much on electric and was thinking of going towards solar. Any suggestions?

How cold is really cold for you?

It can get down to -7 on a winter day it has been a bit warmer this year and we decided to put bantams off until this spring. So far the coldest day has been 12F

I am located in the Lancaster PA area and in the past I have done my brooding inside.

I think bantams will be fine in your weather, I know of people keeping them further north than you with no added heat.
