I love it when the little chicks are just so tired they look like little puddles (chocolate puddles are even better!) that can barely raise their heads....then all the sudden...BOOM..."I'm up, I'm up!!!" and off they go bopping around. Very nice projects, as usual!
I was wondering if anybody had experience hatching chicken and duck eggs in the same incubator. I was thinking that if I set the chicken eggs (21 days incubation) a week after the ducks (28 days incubation) then they would all hatch out at the same time. I know that ducks have slightly different...

I'm interested in networking with anybody who is breeding euskal oiloas (aka basque hen). Where are you, how many birds do you have, where did you get your birds from, are you interested in trading stock of different genetics etc....
