Today we got some medicine for her and she is getting better, she is eating/drinking well and sleeps in a box at night so the other chooks don't get sick but I think another chook in the flock is going to get sick, all of our chooks have been wormed and vaccinated.
So today when I let my chickens out one of my hens was wheezing which was an 18 week old silver Sussex hen, so this afternoon I went to go cheek on her and she wasn't wheezing that much but she had a croaky throat and she was sneezing a bit so I'm guessing she is sick since it is winter in where...
could someone please tell me if my Plymouth rocks are cockerels or pullets we've only got 2 bared rocks and we can't have roosters in a residential area :cd
Is the cockerel on the right a welsummer? Btw these are my neighbours chooks they gave me permission to take pics of their chooks, unfortunately the pullet isn't coping with rooster take a look at pic...
Unfortunately 2 of our NHRs cockerels had to go back to the farm today but they like their enclosure with that bigger rooster btw could someone tell what breed the big rooster is?
I'm 99% sure they both are pullets we've got 3 10 week old New Hampshire pullets that look like yours they are starting to cluck like an adult hen :D;)
