    The chick is a day old and is healthy. It is alone because the other chick needs to stay in the incubator for a couple more hours. I placed the chick under the brooder for the night but it wont stop chirping very loudly. What should I do?

    There is another chick in the incubator for encouragement. The chick in the egg rests and then tries to push out of the egg but doesn't make any progress.

    I put 36 eggs into the incubator and 23 days later one hatched! The chick is the only one to have completely hatched so far. It hatched last night and now it is all fluffed up and healthy.
