yes, they are all laying now, but have been for a while

well, it does not look like an EE because she does not have little puffy cheeks. I'm not sure what the cause is but it's possible she will still feather out just make sure she's staying warm because she does not have ass much fluff as the rest of the chicks would have.

For the past few days, my 11 hens have been acting weirdly. Such as being extra loud, and fighting. we have not changed anything except for getting chicks but they are in a completely different part of the yard in a different run and only out on really nice days. Any idea what it could be?

😭😭😭 I would still check the other birds and treat them. I have lots 3 birds to mites so make sure that if there are any others that look like they have nights to try to separate them

they will bite us but since they are chicken mites they prefer feathers I would still kill it though

check under the wings and feathers under the flashlight. I have used Garden and Poultry Dust you have to put it on all of the birds with mites. in my experience, some recovered but some did not it just depends on how late you realize they have mites

the one I crossed out was a maran I think this looks like a barred rock this one looks like a silver laced wyandott

you have two astralops but sadly there are no barred rockes

from what I can tell you might have at least 3-4 hens Mabey one roo but I'm cant tell for sure

at 18-19 weeks old, they should be females if that's what they look like. A pullet is a hen under one-year-old or not yet laying eggs, and a cockerel is a rooster under one-year-old or who has not yet crowed
