    my sweet girl broke her toe nail

    This girl is amazing as she came right to the house for help!! she had blood dripping everywhere and i noticed it was her toenail!! i think i got the bleeding to stop .. she does seem to be in some pain as she keep lifting her foot! what do i do to help her? photos attached to show the damage

    I’m sad to report she has diarrhea again! Her poops have not been super solid but today watery again! i feel so bad for her she just not herself .. Can it be the molt just kicking her ass?

    her crop feels normal!! i was trying to get her to let me feel her butt again to be sure and i think i def accidently squeezed her!! we set up an indoor roosting system .. and now she’s warm and sleeping!! i’ll keep you all updated in the morning!! thank you so much for all the help ♡

    i have her inside now!! she’s eating a drinking no issue .. she’s has diarrhea .. pretty much just liquid .. 3 times since i’ve brought her in a little over an hour ago .. she’s had diarrhea for a few days but i assumed it was bc she’s molting but could i be wrong? what else should i be looking for

    My poor Darla is going through a molt .. and is now egg bound .. i already gave her an epsom salt bath but when i blow dry her so many feathers are coming out .. is that bad?? it’s cold where i am so i don’t want her getting sick too the egg feels like it is rotated sideways!! is that so bad...

    I noticed this little scab on my Leghorns belly!! is it something i should worry about? we are battling a pretty tough case of bumble foot on her .. does this mean it’s spreading? i do have antibiotics left over from her sisters vet visit for bumble foot (before i knew how to handle it myself)...

    i can’t get Stella to take her medicine

    it doesn’t work .. she shakes her head so hard i can’t even get syringe near her mouth .. we tried for 30 minutes and jsut spilled an entire dose everywhere

    we tried that!! she shakes her head uncontrollable if one of us tries to open her mouth .. and she’s a very docile bird, she layed on my lap for 45 minutes while we worked on her foot no problem .. but she won’t let us near her mouth
