I recently noticed hundreds of small 0.5-1mm wide (or there abouts) bugs with a reddy-black colour in the coop. We took out the bedding, disposed of it and drenched the coop in a chicken mite killer solution. We then did the same three days later. No sign of the mites 4 days after that and then...

Ty! I have a perch for them but it didn't do much, I'll try and put another one in.

They have a run but it is rather large at about 22.5*22.5 feet, the coop is about 4.5*4.5 feet.

She can be quite aggressive, though mostly it seems rather casual. I'll try feeding her some eggs perhaps ty!

Good news! Gave her warm mashed up layers pellets and sugar water this morning. She ate it by herself.

I've just force fed her with a syringe. Both sugar water and mashed up layers pellets. I tried multiple times to do as described by you but she simply doesn't want to. She occasionally eats about 5g of pellets, but she's only done this twice today.

She can definately see. Just tested. She went out the door to explore a bit, and when I put her back in she stood back in her bed. She just doesn't want to eat. I'm going to syringe feed her a sugar water solution.

No she can definately see. Eyes look normal, when I opened the shed this morning she was desperate to get out. I will check with a light though! Thanks.

I live in the UK and vaccines are also mandatory for layer birds. She's only about 2.4 years old :)
