I have 2 RIR, 1 Silkie, 1 Golden Polish, 1 Silver Wyandott, 1 EE. (18 weeks yesterday) A friend of mine is giving me 2 Wyandotts tomorrow. They were all born the same time. My ? is how do i introduce them without harm? No free range. 4 X 8 coop house with 16 X 8 run. Thanks

I agree, put a light in there. I have mine on an automated switch. It goes on at dusk and stays on for an hour then turns off. They will stand there at night sometimes waiting for it to go on, when it does, they file right in...

We named ours Dumb Dumb. My 2 kids named her that. Everybody is different. If u knew her u would understand what the name fits. We have 6 hens and only 3 named so far.

During the hot weather I give mine a fresh 5 gallon every morning during the hot weather. I keep 2 small ones in the COOP for at night, but during the day i keep them in the fridge. and for the 5 gallon i Keep a frozen 1/2 gallon milk jug in it during the day. They Love it. Fresh water is good...
