    Does anyone else have issue with leaking 1 and 3 gallon waterers from Little Giant? Mine are not even lasting a year. I need to outfit 5 breeding pens with waterers and feeders. Any other brands or specific types of waterers you like? These are the ones I currently have.

    It’s open abdomen. Chicken on his back. I cut the keel out and opened up the rib cage. Vent is at the bottom middle of picture. I’ve opened quite a few chickens and it looked like bubbly growths up and down the spine. It wasn’t just one spot, it was multiple areas.

    Don’t want to be a “Bad Egg” WWYD?

    I’ve hemmed and hawed and decided to just grow them out myself. They are a week or 2 away now from being able to sex them. My first 2 batches of chicks I ended up with three quarters of them male so my brooder has cleared out enough to grow them out a bit. Thanks everyone for your thoughts!

    Our locally owned feed store is well stocked with chicks. We do have an auction in the neighboring town I could list them with in a pinch. They have 2 auctions for poultry a week. One in person and one online. 🤔
