Thanks for your response. I sprayed everyone down, cleaned and swept the coop, and then practically drenched the coop. I'm hopeful that I got them all!
Possibly, she does have mites (I treated her and all the others for them this morning), but some of her feathers that haven't been effected my the mites are falling out. It seems to be in the same way that she molted before.
Last week I noticed some mites on one of my chickens. I ordered Elector PSP, it arrived today, and tomorrow I'm going to tackle spraying all of my chickens and coop. Before I begin though I have a few questions... Do just spray the neck and the vent area on the chickens, or do I need to get...
The beginning of September my Light Brahma molted like crazy, and her feathers were falling out in clumps. Since then her feathers have all grown back in again. Tonight I went out to put the girls to bed, and her feathers were all falling out again as if she was beginning another molt.

My hen hatched chicks for one of my friends. I would like to remove the chicks to give them to my friend sooner rather then later.. Is there anything special that I need to do prior to removing them?

Did you try looking on https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=BAMS ? They don't have any available for a while, but they do have some for later in the year.
Thank you for this, and from the post that you were quoting. I was feeling like I was doing something wrong... my chickens don't get an overabundance of treats IMO. They usually only get something once or twice a week. I do however live in NH so they have to burn energy to keep themselves...
PXFLURRY: Yours looks like a rooster to me just based on how my two pullets vs. my one rooster look. Yours has a much more developed comb and wattles then even my rooster did at 12 weeks.
