    Swollen eye

Hi, it looks like it has foul pox. We treat that with garlic juice. The disease isn't that dangerous as long as it does not get into its nose. However I can see that it has another disease that seems to be common right now in Zim(we stay in Harare) it is called "bubbly eye". It is highly...

    Sick duck

One of our ducks has been sick for a while now(over a month). At first we thought it was Botulism. He seems to be over it now. His appetite is Ok. His comb is red. The only problem is that he is unable to walk. We have decided to focus on our chickens and not on duck so all of our ducks have...

Once Moved, Will My Guineas Stay With the Chicken Flock?

We have a potentially broody hen. Poor girl was sitting on an avocado seed today! In the near future, we will be moving to a large property where there would be many snakes, mainly deadly snakes. I have heard that guineas will often not stay in an area if moved there as an adult, and we can...

    Very Sick Duck - Coccidiosis

My 5 week old chicks got cocci so i just used garlic, oregano, a couple drops of oregano oil (its strong!), kombucha vinegar, and cinnamon. The blood in the poop was gone the next day! No chick died!
