    Canker treatment

    My chicken has canker. She’s isolated. She hasn’t been eating or drinking so I’ve been tube feeding. I can’t find metronidazole locally so I have it ordered it through Amazon. I have thyme extract. Does anyone know the dosing for using it?

    Nothing inside. No yellow no cankers. I’ll check crop in morning. Treated her with apple cider vinegar and antibiotics this evening.

    Weird growth on chicken

    I gave him a bath this afternoon. He definitely has irregular feather growth. I’ll stop by tractor supply tomorrow for lice eradication items. I did feed him a scrambled egg and his appetite is healthy.

    He doesn’t mind me touching it but it’s warm to the touch. Hard to determine if it’s body heat since it’s under his wing or because it’s infected.

    I think it’s lice. I didn’t even notice it. I went and checked it out and he’s got a lot of it. His breastbone is pretty prominent. I dusted him with DE. I’ll need to treat entire coop too. Just another thing to add to the plate.
