New Coop-New Chickens
HI! We just built a better bigger coop and got new chickens, went from 3 to 8 chickens. How long do we need to keep them in the coop before letting them free range? We have an un-enclosed yard out in the country. They've been in the coop 5 days. Thanks!- Chickentastic

Do my chickens have coccidiosis? With Pics!
I have noticed some blood like stuff in my chickens' poop recently. Is this the dreaded coccidiosis? Should I treat them? Can I prevent it with vinegar in their water? How much? I have also heard that sometimes chicken's shed their intestinal wall in their poop and it looks red, but it's fine...- Chickentastic

Strange cricket chirp
One of our pullets (2months) makes this strange cricket chirping noise when we approach their coop at night. It is very funny and sweet sounding, kinda low. Anyone ever heard a noise like that before?- Chickentastic
