Bearded Silkie Rooster X Non-Bearded Silkie Hen =????
I have a silkie rooster and a non bearded silkie hen and i really want a bearded hen so i was wondering if i hatch eggs from the pair is it a high chance that i will get bearded silkies or am i just wasting my time and should just order bearded silkies? this is the hen- Chickenyouout

19 weeks old... and I STILL can't tell!!! *pic* *EDIT It's A......*
Definatly a rooster....heeavy breeds mature slower...and it if were a pullet she would not be the same height as the rooster on her side...best way to find it is to feel for spurs...they should be coming out about that time..- Chickenyouout

jojo@rolling acres farm : I've had Bantam Buff Brahmas for 6 years and have NEVER had agression issues. My Rooster is good to his hens and the hens are good broodys and make WONDERFUL mothers. I don't know why you've had issues, but to tell someone to kill a baby chick based on your experience...- Chickenyouout
