  • I have just discovered I have a rooster among my hens. I'm not allowed roosters in my neighborhood so what do I do with him.
    Help my 6-7 week old chicks are pecking one of my chicks and she's bleeding. Just put Peck No More and they still Peck. Help

    Keep young chicks separate from older chicks until they are 3 months of age. Mix them in slowly fron behind a cage or partion after several weeks. Watch for aggression and if need be, remove bullies not weaker birds. :)

    Also, always use several feed and water stations so there isn't any competition. :)
    My chicks are getting their new customized coop on Wednesday. They are 6weeks old now. When can they transition to coop permanently?
    I need to change my name. I didn't know how to fill out that form. Any suggestions

    Only Administration can change screen names now. Contact either BYC Support, Nifty-Chicken, DuckLady (although DuckLady is on vacation now) One of the others can change it for you. :)
