    thanks for the help here..you got a wonderful site at least now i know not to worry, these chickens i have are all my babies along with my three little dogs and they all get along well together with the chickens....as soon as i know how i will post a picture in the appropiate section for you...

    ok i cannot get my 10 week old chickens to use the perch inside, they are free range and are quite happy to perch on the back of the seat in the garden but when they go in at night time they all cuddly together in a corner,we are in the middle of summer here by the way, i have done all that i am...

    we bought 6 pure bred hens last weekend age 7 weeks,i was told to get them used to their home and where they are to sleep for about a week before we let them free range but they wont go in to the darkened section of the hen house when its dark they want to stay in the run cuddled up in a corner...
