Do you recall when your girls started laying? ..I've been told EE's and other blue and green laying hens are a little later to mature. ...Thanks in advance
Thank you for the suggestions. I've been on the fence about using them. It doesn't seem natural yet the sanitary factor seems better. ..mind you I've noticed when I spill water when topping up their dish they seem to like to drink from the puddle over the dish ...and they eat lots of dirt...
wow thats crazy! I heard avocado is toxic to birds! in fact a friend of mine lost her 3 cockatiels giving them a half. ..must just be tropical bird thing or maybe in smaller quantity?? anyway good to know your girls loved it and are ok!

Hey thanks a bunch for the warm hellos! I'm thinking to keep one roo but cant decide. My birds are a mixed group of 'fancies' including OBuffs, Auricana's (spelling?) RI Reds etc and too many crosses to list. The colours vary as well as feather styles; ie - poofy heads, poofy necks and feathered...
