Hi there I just had the same thing happen to one of my chickens. I had to put him down it was marek's. He was acting the same way your hen is.Hopefully it's not but if you search on here for the disease there is alot of good info on here. sorry to here this about your hen.

Ok thanks for the advice last time on my hatch I didn't candle enough.

So I have a question how long does it usually take after you have an internal pip. I candle it this mornin just to see and sure enough the lil booger was in the air sack.

Well I hope all goes well with your hatch. Mine are still doin the lil dance lol it's cute to watch the shell move back and forth. This will be my first hatch the last one didn't go so well either. So I hope we both get many more chicks!!

I know how you feel. I went into lockdown yesterday and it has been wiggling ever since. It is so nerve wrecking. But the good news is I have an internal pip on it. Good luck on your hatch!!!

So it's day 18 and I have a wiggler woohoo I am so excited. But I have one ? I have a Banty egg that is on day 16 will it be ok to go into lock down with the other one? .

I locked down on sunday and I'm waiting. This is such a long process I just wish I would get a pip.

woohoo lol i'm so happy i was hoping that's what they are.. The lady that i got them off of didn't know much about them. She thought they were maybe a year old. The hen has been laying but they went into a molt about a week ago.

I recently got this pair of chickens off a lady. The guy she got them from said that they were rosecombs but i don't think the are any thoughts. Thanks a bunch...

Wow I am kinda new to all of this. I didn't realize all the different traits. But she is mostly white on her neck but on down her body she is goldish. She doesn't have any silver on her.. And thanks for your comments even tho your not an oeg person it still helps..

OK so maybe this is a stupid question. But what is the differance between a silver fawn and a fawn?? I guess i am just kinda confused..

My silver duckwing roo mated with my fawn duckwing hen.. What will I get out of this mix. My egg is due to hatch next week and i'm just curious.. thanks
