I have 5 chicks left to name, but I'm waiting until they get older. I'm also going to get a rooster when they are old enough to go out to the big pen.

I also have a malliard (?) duckling that we rescued. I'm not sure how he/she got separated from it's mother, but we found it in the driveway, no other ducks around. So, of course we grabbed it before the cat could. This is why I decided to get some chickens and play around...
So, I *think* my older two are around 4wks old... I tried apple today. I just learned that you can "treat" chickens. (I'm new lol). They wanted nothing to do with it. They are super flighty and scared of me. I havn't handled them much.

I'm a brand new chick owner, but I bought the Dumor chick starter crumbles from TSC. It said safe for ducks, chickens, etc from 0-10 wks. I have a duck too.
