    My girls have stopped laying in their nesting boxes. They now lay on the ground in the straw. What is wrong?

    soft shell eggs

    My Black australorp keeps laying soft shell eggs. She gets layer feed,oyster shell and walks around the yard. She will lay a few good eggs and then she gets goofy again.THe other 3 girls(EE,SW,RS) do a great job!!They are all around 10 months old. Could my "Betty" be sick?
