    Chicken feet turning red

I just noticed my chickens feet and leg has red on them. It’s in between their toes and up their legs. Today is our first day with snow if that has anything to do with it. Any help is appreciated.

What can a vet do for Bumblefoot

I’ve done that, soaks and wraps, and scab removal. Never any puss or kernel and it always comes back. Thats why I’m thinking of going the vet route.

What can a vet do for Bumblefoot

That’s for one bird. I’m assuming what’s wrong with one is the same for all. I’m just afraid to just leave it.

Yea, I found one. 140 just to be seen, but if something is wrong I don’t want them suffering.

What can a vet do for Bumblefoot

No, they just have the scab on the bottom of their foot. One did have a limp with a giant scab, but we removed it and she stopped limping. It came back but not as large and no more limping.

    Bumblefoot scabs won’t go away

Thank you, I’ll give the sugardine a try since I’ve already tried tricide neo. I have 3 chickens with Bumblefoot right now. I just don’t know why they are getting it.

    Bumblefoot scabs won’t go away

Their bedding in the coop is pine shavings, the roost is 2x4 and 18 inches tall. The run is sand with stumps and branches to roost on.

    Bumblefoot scabs won’t go away

I have multiple chickens with Bumblefoot scabs, but that’s all they have. No swelling, no kernel or puss. I have removed them but they keep coming back, I don’t know what to do at this point.
