    Thanks for reminding me! Unfortunately I have since sold all of the babies, but when they grew up they all looked exactly like Rouens! The color differences as ducklings was not related to sex or what they would look like as adults. Just one of those odd things I guess!

    Here are some pictures of the father. He is essentially pure white with a faint hint of yellow on the shoulders. Chicken genetics are new and confusing to me! We breed ball pythons and those genes are so much simpler!

    Thank you, junebuggena! Chicken genetics are still very new to us, and we got the white EE roo from a feed store, so who knows what could be hiding there. Do you know why the buff would get darker color coming through?
