Help! Vent gleet or something else? (Pic attached)

Looks darker than the pictures I’ve seen of discharge from vent gleet. Noticed she was separated from the flock and had no energy to eat. She seemed very disoriented and had trouble standing for a moment when I put her back down. She is currently separated in a dog crate with food and water.

Lump on rooster’s back (pictures attached)

Good to hear! Any recommendations on what kind of antibiotic? I’m still building up my chicken first aid kit.

Seems to be. I heard him crowing this morning and saw him trying to mate his ladies so he seems normal. I have a pregnant goat so I was paying more attention to her but I’ll make sure to keep a closer eye on him and check that spot a couple times.

So I went to poke with a needle and the area was no longer swelling. I’m thinking maybe the sound I heard was the air going back to wherever it leaked from?

None that I’ve seen. I will try the needle and update

It feels soft and squishy. Based on how warm it is I believe there is blood (or something else) under. When I pressed on it gently it made kind of a crackling sound (not the whole time just like one crackle)

I was checking my rooster today (had some lice we treated last month) and noticed a large, warm bump below his neck. There are no feathers growing on it. I accidentally plucked a loose feather which is the red dot. Any ideas as to what this could be? He is acting normal.

    Yellow chalky discharge around vent

@Tookie @Lillith37 What a relief! Thanks for clearing that up lol. I think I’ll see how they like tuna in the morning

    Yellow chalky discharge around vent

Details: Several weeks ago I brought home three adult hens, two Blue Andalusians and a Plymouth Rock. They are all around 1.5 years old and molting. The Plymouth Rock has only layed one egg so far, I assumed this is because she had bumbles on both feet and has been recovering since I removed...

Silkie pullet head shaking (Should I keep confined?)

Just did, thanks! It was nice to see the the whole flock decided to keep her company while she was crated lol

Silkie pullet head shaking (Should I keep confined?)

Phyllis came out of the coop this morning and ate a little bit before she started to bash her head into the ground like in the video. I figured she was probably trying to dislodge something and did some quick research on impacted crops. I massaged her but I am a new chicken owner so I couldn’t...

    Silkie sexing (streamer?)

Awesome, thanks! She’s one of my roosters favorites so I was hoping I wouldn’t have to separate them.
