It's amazing the difference from Wausau to antigo. It was 30 degrees when I left for work at 5. I had a pretty impressive layer of ice on my windshield. Not frost. Picking a couple dozen eggs and working around the house today. Been soooo terribly busy lately. Hope it settles down soon.

So funny hearing how lovely antigo is! I guess living here I don't realize the perks as compared to coming from something smaller. I believe the sausage place your taking about bigz is peroutkas. It's right by menards. They really have some good stuff. Lots of brat varieties and excellent ring...

Pigs are still hanging out in the back yard until the 11th of October. That's the soonest I could get them in once I called. For tonite its packaging bear for the freezer. I got a lot of nice steaks and roasts and a darn big pile of trim for burger. That's gonna be a tasty dinner on the grill...

Yeah I'd say underground would be your only other option. And yes they do work very well. If I needed to contain the critters that's what I'd do for sure. Been so busy with overtime and bear baiting and hunting. I got my bear last night so that's friggin awesome. Not quite as big as I hoped but...

Just took the tape measure weight on the pigs. 265 pounds is what I came up with. Just about perfect butcher weight. They look really nice too. I'll post some pictures tomorrow

Been working around the yard lots. I wish I had more time for a garden. I love fresh veggies I just can't see where it would fit in my day. Got a new chainsaw tonite. Pretty excited to cut some stuff tomorrow with it. There were so many options and when the hell did stuff like that get so...

Just took down my first coop. Gonna make a nice fire. And I listed my calf hutch in Craigslist too. It's in rough shape but serves the purpose. We'll see how much bs response I get on that. I'm pretty much open to anything because I got it for the right price.

Yeah I stood pretty firm on my price. I don't need to sell it so I'm not desperate by any means. You saying that about the hawk reminds me, on Saturday there were 11 hawks at various heights circling over my house. I never seen so many at once. Bet my girls were pittin their shants.
