    We shut our ducks away at night without water, it's not a problem for them at all. Ducks tend to get water everywhere otherwise.

    This is our Duck-house, it can be moved around the garden and the run is handy when I cut the grass to keep them safe.

    New to Ducks

    We've had our little Indian Runner ducklings for a couple of weeks now and they are bonding well with us. I try not to handle ours other than to put them outside whenever the weather allows it. Hand feeding cucumber has worked wonders, they go nuts for it chopped up, straight from the hand...

    Thanks DnD, I shall keep listening for quacks, and keep my fingers crossed that they are mainly girls. Just wish the weather would warm up a touch so we can get them living outside with more space. I guess we should make the most of them still being little, no doubt they'll soon grow up.

    Good day all. I am new to keeping ducks, although I have done masses of research before taking the plunge. We have 9 Indian Runners, 7 are just under 6 weeks, and the other two are less than 4 weeks. They had been on heat until I got them last weekend, and I have weaned them off the heat now...
