    if shes not bleeding, shes molting, some of my birds look like they have lost weight but its just feathers.

    Hello, I have 12 week old chicks,(I guess I should call them pullets now) are they old enough to eat Black Oil Sunflower Seeds whole yet? I'm wondering if they are too big for them to digest.

    I ordered our Chick-n-barn thru our feed store, and it was only $299(thats without the run and nesting boxes) I didn't have to pay shipping!!!

    I agree, I only have 4 hens, I don't worry about the cost, I try to eat all organic when I can find it, so why not eat organic eggs?

    Yes the one that has a comb is a single comb, now that I look at the other one there is a V where the comb must be coming in. The one with the single comb has red under its beak, Jouls? the one with out the comb the color of the jouls are orangish. what doest this all mean?

    I have 2 silver laced wyndottes and one has a comb and the other doesn't,(they are 4 weeks old today) Does this mean that one is a boy, if so which one, I'm hoping its just a birth defect and the are both girls.
