    I handle mine all the time, they will get used to it. I have a rooster that looks for me to play with him every time I go out the back door. but he doesn't play fair, he tries to sneak up behind us and flog us when we aren't paying attention then crow boastfully about it lol.

    I don't know how to just put the pics up here but the first one is a RIR, second one a RIR barred Rock mix lol, guess the old man got it right bahahahaha

    I have absolutely nothing in my chicken coop and run, it's no mansion but my babies like it. now on the other hand I have around $200 in the first chick we hatched in the incubator this year

    oh you guy's gonna crucify me then, after 3~4 days, because i have chicks hatching daily, i take mine from under the lamp and they are fine ... but they are in a nice climatized house in SC

    I have a RIR chick that was born with a 'gimpy' foot like that and she is doing great, kinda funny when she tries to scratch her head and she rolls on her back peeping like a mad hen ... lol

    we have chicks hatching everyday when we feed we just stuff the new eggs in the hova~bator with the ones already in there. so far we have 24 chicks of various ages from just hatched to about 3 weeks old. just a simple still air hova~bator, hand turning. so far only had a few duds, a couple...
