    The chick got out by itself, so I worried for nothing! I do have another question, though. It’s only day 22 and the chicks are pecking the eggs as they are hatching. Do I leave them in until the rest of the eggs hatch?

    My chicks have been pipping in the middle of the egg. Only 4 made it. Is there something I can do to get a better hatch rate? Most of the chicks that died were fully formed but never pipped.
