Question to anyone... One of my chickens layed a soft egg after she was acting funny... She has layed before.. Never a soft egg.. Do you think any thing could be wrong..I did loose a bird last week, why i don't know... Help:hit

one of my chickens, also had a egg like this... Her next egg was a soft on... I would also like to here what the problem is...

I also used a golf ball in my egg boxes..It works great.. My Rhoad Island Red lay:yaed her first egg, Friday. It was like she new that the ball ment lay the egg here.. She also made alot of noise after she layed the egg. So that everyone new what she had done.

I got my first egg yesterday at 2:35... The egg is small but perfectly shaped... I am so eggcited:weee It came form my Rhode Island Red .She was one day short of six mounths old..Pics to come.. She made a racket:duc My hole family is so eggcited:weee

Good luck my four hens ate all the grass in the run. My run is only 7 1/2 feet by 13 1/2 feet... Nothing left...

Not every one has eggs I am also still waiting .. My girls are 24 weeks today.. No eggs yet:(

My chicken are 24 weeks old and I an still wating for my first egg... I wanted to do something cool with the first one, I am glad to here someone else thought so much of the first egg... I am also planing to blow the first egg....

I can't waite to get me first EGG... All the kids have a egg pool going.. The pot has reached $35.00... I have people calling me every day!!!Still no eggs and the pot is climing!!! I am gald to see that everyone is as as me...

I had also started with a tarp.. We had so much rain last mounth that I lived out back dumping all the rain water off. The plastic roof is great. My pen is 7 1/2 feet wide. I first laied out the spacing were I was to but 2x4 I than drilled a hole in the pipes. I screwed up through the pipes...

I have also used a dog run for my four girls.. We put a roof on with coregated plastic. It works great and keeps every one dry, and also shades them to. There coop is in side the dog pen to keep them extra safe...I think this was a great pen for my small flock... I Love My Pet Chickens:
