Of my six, I'd say at least 4 are laying. I have seen a few in the nest boxes but egg size is still about the size of my Bantams so it's a guess. All appear to be pullets, just super fast to mature.
They are huge and beautiful!
But I don't have the healthiest birds. I wouldn't buy them again...
I'm mostly getting Tomato Hornworms.
I'm about ready to nuc them. What has worked for you all?
Like if they'd just eat one tomato they could live but they have to ruin every single one on each plant then top it before I'm ready. These jerks must die! I have never had them so bad, my old place...
The one with the red chest kinda look like my 'Production Blue' - The Production Blue is a cross between a Rhode Island Red and a Blue Australorp.
All gray/blue looks like my sapphire gems.
When I am buying "grow outs" I want them off heat... Or I'd just go buy day olds. Depending on the breed I see prices from $10-$20.
I don't know if there is a logic to certain ages.
