Super excited to share photos of my itty bitty babies. (And get confirmation on my assumptions or reality for my delusions!) I'm not exactly sure what they are, possible just random BYM bantam, possible satin "showgirls", bantam turkens, satins, I don't know or understand how all the mixes work. I love them because they are ridiculously adorable. They all have white/pink skin, 5 toes, feathered feet, tuft/crested, and are bantam size. Some pea combs, some single combs.

I knew when I got the first 2 that one was a Cockerel. I was going to mix in some of my existing bantams but plans change, I wanted them closer to the house, and chicken math!

I reached back out to the gal to see if she had anymore grow outs, specifically I was trying to get more pullets. I got 4 more, we tried to pick out possible pullets. Ha ha ha. I have terrible luck! She will swap out the Cockerels and she currently has grown outs again so I want to reach out for the swaps before she sells a bunch.

Ozzy - Skittles was the first Cockerel. He is crowing.

New(er) babies:
Snickers leaning Cockerel.

Reeses is the youngest by at least a few weeks, also leaning Cockerel. 'His' naked neck is really only in the back side, reverse mullet! It seems like more than the bowtie but I'm new to NN birds...
(Look wise, I prefer the pea comb vs Ozzy's single but Kit is very attached to Ozzy, so he stays unless he's a jerk.)

Twix had a brother that was showing Cockerel signs early, Twix, Ozzy, Kit Kat are the same age (possibly Tootsie and Snickers are same age too). I thought Twix was leaning pullet but those new orange feathers look saddle like. (Ozzy does 'sexy' dance around Twix... Keep trying to convince myself and Twix. Think pullet!)

I'm begging Tootsie to be a pullet. So little, so cute!

I'd love to breed Tootsie and Snickers for little itty bitties. So, I may keep Snickers if cockerel depending on temperament.

The coop/run are still in progress.
Two more openable windows, a viewing window for the door, and extra ventilation purchased. Need to make a roost with poop board, I've have luck before with PDZ so I'll try again. Need to put a board/step in doorway to complete deep litter.
Need to get hardwire cloth down in/around the ground. Install outdoor lights and then landscaping changes. We don't like the door on the run so it will get an upgrade when I get too annoyed.

For this coop, I went with as much prefabricated stuff as possible. Husband and father in law have built a lot of coops between my mother in law and I. (At least another to come later this year when they move, up to 3 more.) Also, in hopes to make it 'less' painful for my husband dealing with my chicken math problem. He only has to help build things and occasionally help when I'm in crisis mode.

Very adorable birds! Do you know the exact ages of the ones you are concerned about being roos? My guesses, not knowing ages, are:

Snickers- leaning cockerel just because of comb size, but that really depends on age
Reeses- on the fence, it's flushed very red but has minimal wattles and comb going on.
Twix- I unfortunately see what looks like saddle feathers emerging, which means cockerel even if otherwise I would have been leaning pullet.
Tootsie- on the fence, but leaning pullet.

Snickers: I'm not sure. Depending on age the comb could mean something.

Reeses is a Cockerel due to the color leakage.

Twix is a Cockerel

Tootsie looks like a pullet but no guarantees. Bantams are very hard to sex.

The lady I got them from did not know exactly ages due to a few clutches hatching around same time. She seemed to have a lot going on.

I got Ozzy & Kit Kat around June 18. They were fully feathered and gender was pretty easy to guess. Attached photos.

The others I picked up after July 15. She was thinking all pullets but there were a couple I thought very questionable.

Thanks.
I was hoping I get at least two more pullets but even one of iffy at this point. This is my luck with bantams!
I wish I had better age time frames for everyone to make the guessing more official.

Not looking good on the pullet front.
Snickers made a raspy noise this morning, sad crow? :'(
Reeses had a tail feather pop up and seeing lots of green leakage.
Boo! Still hoping a chance with Tootsie! Maybe.
