    If the take the rooster you will be able to increase your flock. Rhode Island Reds make good mother hens when allowed to go broody. Some Rhode Island Red rooster get mean and will flog you.

    Enjoyed looking at his 120 pens of purebred chickens. He has a Czech foreign exchange student who collects the trap nest eggs. Keeping 70 generations of breeding records is pretty impressive. He is a nice screenwriter and director.
