    yes, mine took 34 weeks. I also have purebred Ameraucanas, one of which took 47 weeks to lay. But her first eggs were not small so maybe its good she matured slowly. Good luck!

    I have two Ameraucana hens, one started at 40 wks, the other at 47 weeks. The days are already getting longer, you should get an egg any day now!

    Its good you keep her away from the others and practice good biosecurity measures in case its transmissible. Check the others for external or internal parasites. Also you could add 1 tsp unpasturized apple cider vinegar to each gallon of drinking water...I'm not sure there's proof it boosts...
