Thank you for the insight. Having looked at the symptoms it could be mareks but I'm not fully convinced. I've treated with electrolyte water and corrid as well as a b vitamin solution, all of which I drip fed with a syringe. She was bought as a day old from TSC as far as I'm aware she was unvaccinated and since we have a small flock we did not vaccinate.- danpeters9497

I have a 10 week old EE pullet bought from TSC. Amongst a flock of EE, orpingtons and australorp. Went to let her out and she would not stand. Do I picked her up and she was limp. Wow. I mean I guess that all makes sense. The poultry industry is so huge after all, I hadn't thought of it at the industrial level. I've got some way to go before I make the plunge into raising meat birds and clearly a lot more to learn! Thank you for your informative response.- danpeters9497
