I have left mine outside now since Sunday night and they are only 4 weeks old. I live in central Florida and they have been fine every night. I did set up their heat lamp, if it gets below 60. I will turn it back on. They are doing great.

Baby chick losing fluff but not growing feathers

Thank you. They are in my garage for now to keep them safe. He/she is the only one who looks this way. The other three are doing great. I see no feathers. He does like to roll around in the dirt when I bring them out to get some outside time in the yard. I will try the meal worms. Thank you!

    Baby chicks and dogs

We just brought home 4 baby chicks. I want my dogs (mainly my little dog) to get use to having them around, so when they are older I can have them run around the yard without her attacking them. Any advice on how to help this relationship between little dog and chicks?

    New chickie mommie

Hi, I am Amanda. On Saturday we welcomed for new chicks into our family. Not sure what sex they are. They are RIR. Their names are Max, Josie, Ninja and Sadie. We are excited to have them! I don't know anything about chickens, so I look forward to learning all I can from this group.
