Was given this "hen" the other day the woman assured my mother it was a hen but its tail looks a lot like the start of a cockerel tail, it sounds like a hen and hasn't tried to fight the other cockerel that is here, i was told it's around 16 weeks old, it doesn't have the pointed saddle feathers...

I was wrong, it turned out to be botulism, i took him to an avian vet he had to stay there for 2 days they had him on a drip and had to tube feed him, but he is eating and drinking on his own again so he got to come home, im so happy he is doing better, cost more than $500 but it was worth every...

Pedro survived another night but he still isn't doing well, i don't think he has been drinking and this is the second day he hasn't eaten, should i use a syringe and drop some vitamin and mineral water into his mouth?

not sure, id say maybe a month and a half or around that, i was told that all 3 were 3 months old but they were all different sizes when i got them

great :) the grey one just looks like a smaller version of the white one so i'd say they are both EE, the black one and white one kind of stand up tall to eachother sometimes, which looks like rooster behavior, but i'm not sure if hens do that as well, haven't had chickens for a long time
