    I'm not going to get chickens yet I'm going to finish the coop repair first! on the opposite side of the nesting boxes you will see a 1x6x8 that sits about 4.5ft off the ground the nesting box perch sits about 3ft of the ground and then there is another perch put on top of the wall in the middle...

    I noticed my coop roof has been leaking a lot and as of right now I don't have any chickens so what do I do, I completely tear the old roof off and rebuild it to last! The roof structure is supported by 2x4's and 1x6 with acutally metal roof housing the area that I am redoing is a 16x16 section...

    I have just installed a watering nipple system in my coop is there anyway to get them to get use to using is vs the watering bowl method?

    Tysvm for the warm welcome I would love to have free range chickens I have the land to do it but my dogs would not go for it I plan to expand the coop to be even bigger during the spring!

    Hey guys we have just recently built a chicken house - coop it is 24ft long by 16ft wide and today we were given around 12 chickens I believe that they are 2 polish not sure, 2 Australorps again not sure, 2 Silkies def know about these, 6 Rhode Island Reds I don't know much about chickens but...
