    I got a decent green/olive egg breeding a black breasted red Araucana rooster over a PBR hen. This gave me a sex linked light-medium(depending on lighting) olive egger chicks

    It doesn't, I use a pure double Blue gene roo. Shade color depends on breed you match with it. Medium brown - medium/light green/olive.

    I just had a hen go broody and I have eggs in incubators with 7 days and 14 days remaining. My question is what temps do you let broody hens have chicks? Seems a little cold to me but I guess it depends on if she's a good mom or not?

    SG definitely has some tail feathers started to grow. Everyone else is doing great and growing all the time.

    Off topic and many years later, but I just hatched some Araucana eggs. How long/when do the Tufts( if they have them) start to show?

    Maybe someone else can, but I can't tell yet. From what I can find online they should start to be obvious by 4-7 days old

    You can definitely tell SG was first to hatch. Little feathers growing the most

    Can you tell the difference between them? Sunny and Cheeks are very similar and so are Antoneitte and Snowflake
