I live in Connecticut and it looks like my chicks may have parasites (mites, lice) . I've notice dirty vent feathers and pale combs. Can I spray my chickens with Poultry Protector in the winter? I'm worried about frostbite.

Is it safe to spray birds with a product like Elector PSP in the winter? I worry about getting their feathers and skin wet during the cold.

I am worried about the color and the quality of my hens comb. I'm not sure if this is the result of another chicken pecking at her. However the color seems off as well. Any idea?

Hello. I am in strong agreement with your wife. Pizza is high in sodium and even sugars. A high quality layer feed is all they need.

I would say that's a good idea as well if it really is the egg laying song. If it goes on throughout the day, then it may be something else.
