    What do you all think. This is Potato. I posted a few weeks ago. She's now 11.5 weeks old. Her hatch mate that I also have doesn't have a comb as red, but the hatch mate "falcon" also is smaller.

    Here are my 2 EE "pullets". 5 weeks old. What does everyone think. They both have different combs. Potato's is flat and wide, and Falcon just has 1 ridge and it's skinny.

    When will my white leghorn start laying?

    One of my white leg horns laid at 15 weeks. We've gotten 4 eggs from her. The ladies will be 17 weeks tomorrow and the white leg horn and one red sexlink are my only 2 laying. My other white leg horn isn't showing signs of being ready quite yet.

    Nope not too young. If you are really worried about them being cold you could always add a heat lamp to the coop. They should be fine though.

    My ladies spent their first night outside last night! I did use the heat lamp and was a nervous wreck without their little chirping inside all night. But they seemed to be fine. They don't come to me when I open the big coop door yet, but I think it's just because it's new. They were very social...

    Newbie in CT

    Hi, I am Danielle. We are looking to get 2 chickens this spring, but we need to build our coop first. I live in West Haven, CT. If anyone has any tips for neighbors that would be great. We live in a pretty tight neighborhood.
