I have a 6 mo old barred rock who recently started to lay n she's now getting more n more broody ev day. She's generally a sweet hen but while gathering eggs she's downright crabby! Is it normal for her to be like this so young?? I have no roo's either by the way. Someone help! ;-). Lol
I have 2 groups n they are 3 mos apart in age so I kept mine on chick starter til they all caught up in age n all were laying at the same time. I just supplemented the older gals with extra protein like meat scraps n stuff. They are fine and lay everyday so it musta worked lol. Hope that helps :-)

Ok, sounds really yucky but I know under the predator thread someone sells urine- all types depending the predator. It comes in liquid n granules. U hang a dispenser nose level. It is supposed to work very very well. Good luck!
