The building of Pea Palace(Pic Heavy)

Thanks for your reply. I will just concentrate on my own eggs. Just want to try hatching eggs. I don't have the best of luck with my pea eggs and pea chicks. So I do not want to pay a large sum and not be able to hatch them. Thanks again for your reply.

I love all of your pens and your Peafowl. Most interested to know if you will be selling any eggs in the Spring/Summer of 2014.

I have only been raising winged creatures since the beginning of 2009, this time. I had several breeds of chickens about 25 years ago. Mostly just playing and for the eggs. This time, I want them for meat and eggs; and possibly to sell a few at different trade days. I have a few chickens...

    Silkie thread!

I want to read all of this thread, I will begin later today. However, I do have a question. Am I the only person that seems to have Silkie Roosters that want to fight you? I was feeding a pen of my silkies the other day, and one of my juvenile roos attacked my hand and took a plug of skin. I...

    Peacock Becoming Aggressive

Just in recent days, my 4 year old India Blue Peacock has become aggressive to me. Currently he is in a large stall in my barn and I plan to move him out when I complete a pen. The first time he showed aggression, I had a cup of feed and had my hand through the door. It happened so fast, I...

    Washed Sand with peafowl?

Quote: Remember, the sun comes up in the East and sets in the West. If you are facing west, South is left and North is right. In the morning, if the Sun is blinding you, you are headed East. In the afternoon if the sun is blinding you, you are headed West.

Baby Bantie Roo: quiet and gentle breeds?

I think the Cochins are more docile. I have a silkie Roo, he is the meanest little thing I ever stepped in the pen with. Have more silkies, praying they are more docile if Roos. I have read other accounts of mean silkie roos. However, I love silkies and showgirls!! They are too small to do...
