One was snatched by a Bald Eagle late in the spring and we ended up with a hen and two Toms. The hen went to a neighbor (I'm guessing 22-24lbs) and the Toms went into the freezer at 31 and 40 lbs. I have no idea...

I do know of a local-ish source of CCL pullets/eggs. I'll ask around as to other options with the intent of having chicks on hand for late Winter or early Spring.

So, we have two EE's sisters that, disappointingly, lay lightly tinted (brown) eggs. Can anyone tell me what the odds are of having Olive Egger offspring when crossed to one of our BCM roos?
Here's Cleveland Brown ... her sister looks identical but is almost solid black.
