My Buff duck usually lays 3-4 light blue/green eggs per week. She hadn't laid an egg in about 4 days and then THIS. Does anyone know what could have caused an egg like this?

What should I do with my Ducks who are normally in a coop and duck house while we are away?? Everyone is evacuating and I can't take my ducks. Any ideas?
I have three female ducks all at laying age. Two of my ducks are blue runners and the third is a Buff. The Buff duck appears to be taking on the role of a male! She is not laying, playing the male part of their daily mating games, and chasing off/defending their "territory " around our pond. Am...
water bowl ideas??. I put a bowl of water in my ducks house/coop every night. Here's the problem, they don't just drink from it they get IN it and spill it all over. Any ideas??
can anyone tell me what I should do?? My female Pekin has been laying perfect eggs daily for a year. Yesterday, I found her lethargic, not eating and displaying all the symptoms of being egg bound. I soaked her in warm water and she passed a perfect egg but was still not "right" She was...

Her wings have been like this since June. Even though she's mounting all her other feathers there is no improvement with her wings? Should I be giving her any supplement?
can anyone suggest a remedy for this? My female Pekin has wings like straw even though she is mounting out all her other feathers. I feed her laying feed because she lays an egg a day and also oyster shell. Is this common?
I raised 2 Pekins, a male and a female. my male was killed yesterday by 2 stray dogs and my female is limping but ok. She is very lost without him as they were together since birth. The female ate a little this morning but I'm not sure what to do now. Do I try to find another male? Find a new...
