Why the crazy color to the shell as well as the meat spot? Is there something wrong with my duck?

My Buff duck usually lays 3-4 light blue/green eggs per week. She hadn't laid an egg in about 4 days and then THIS. Does anyone know what could have caused an egg like this? (See photo attached)

What should I do with my Ducks who are normally in a coop and duck house while we are away?? Everyone is evacuating and I can't take my ducks. Any ideas?

Well, we decided to hold on to our sweet girl and brought home a new mate for her. He is adjusting really well and she seems so much more relaxed. I'm hoping that they will stick close to the pond and be safer. Thus far, they are. Fingers crossed...
