I have a white sussex hen and she is around 19/20 weeks at what age do the white sussex breed of chicken start to lay eggs!!

They arent egg laying stage yet. they are all around 10-12 weeks old and i know for defo that no 4is as his comb and flappy bits are bigger than the rest of the other 3. :)
Well because of the poer outage that has most probably delayed the hatching process by a day or too lets just hope that they are all still okay and growing.
i will say just hold on for a couple of more days as if your humidity was a little low that would also delay the hatching time

Well hopefully your little chick is still growing but if not then its all about learnign what to do and what not to do :)

Hello im pretty new to all this icubating chicken eggs and all that.
a couple of questions..
1. have you done all the right things i.e. candled them, turning them and now on lockdown?
2. have you any signs of them cracking?
and finially dont be inpatient and just wait another couple of days...
Well now you say that all my chickens have got some brown markings on i believe i have 3 hens and 1 rooster until today a neighbour said it looks like 3 roosters and 1 hen
ill upload some pics of them today and you can tell me breed and sex if possible thanks again

I believe through googling pictures that i have White Leghorns however im not 100% as i am new to this !
