    She isn't lethargic. My husband thinks she is looking better but I'm not sure. I am keeping medicine on her and she has been separated from the others. Really hoping our little Sugar stays strong until the vet gets back in town.

    We live in a small town and the only vet that takes care of chickens is away for a week! We haven't even had our babies for an entire month and we have our first illness. This is the best picture my phone could take. Any thoughts, suggestions, information, anything would be greatly appreciated!

    Brand new chicken mama!

    Hello! We recently purchased 16 chicks as first time chicken owners, because, well, we are crazy like that! We have some Orpingtons, Leghorns, Barred Rock, Red Cross and Ameraucana. Can't believe how excited we are!!
